The first spy photos with the interior design of the new Fiat 500X have been provided by our spy photographers.
Fiat’s future small SUV, the 500X, will be coming with a unique dashboard which doesn’t have anything in common with the already available 500, 500L or 500L Living. The model in question is said to be the most important vehicle since the 500 and it will be combining the appearance of the small city car with the practicality of the crossover. It is said to be launched in the United States too, besides Europe, sometimes next year, where it will probably come with a series of modifications compared to the version available on the Old Continent.
The vehicle will get, on the European market, a 1.4 liter turbo in multiple stages of tune, along with the 1.6 liter diesel, while over-seas, the crossover will come with a 1.8 liter four-cylinder unit. The Italian based automaker Fiat is planning to sell 100,000 units annually in North America and the 500X will play a key role in this strategy. More details on the model will probably be announced this October, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, when it’s expected to make its public debut.
