The Fiat 500XL, the seven-seat version of the 500L, has recently leaked in some images, ahead of what might be its official debut, during the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
After the Italian based automaker has introduced earlier this year during the 201 Geneva Motor Show the five-door 500L, the model is once again being placed into the spotlights, but, this time, as the seven-seat version of the model, which is considered to be a successor of the Multipla. The vehicle has recently leaked and the images posted below this article have been provided by jokeforblog.blogspot.com. The Fiat 500XL is expected to be officially presented to the public at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, but there is no official word on this subject from the carmaker at the moment.
As a quick reminder, the Fiat 500L, the model on which the 500XL has been based, is 4,140 mm long, 1,780 mm wide and 1,660 mm tall and the vehicle is expected to pack a 1.4 liter four-cylinder, a 1.3 liter MultiJet diesel unit and also an eco-Drive version, which is expected to make its way onto the market later on. The Fiat 500L will be made on the SUSW (Small U.S. Wide) platform, the same one which will also underpin more models like the Jeep compact crossover over-seas or the replacements for the Fiat Palio and Fiat Punto.
