Or the successor of the Linea, however you may want to call it.
The Fiat Aegea has been officially presented to the public, in a premiere, during the 2015 Istanbul Motor Show, as the carmaker has put an end to rumors, speculations and rendering images, at least for the moment. The model in question is nothing more than the official successor for the Linea and it is coming with a better look than its predecessor, with a more refined design. The vehicle has been apparently designed in Italy, at the FCA Style Center, and it has been developed in Turkey, where it will also be put together, at the Bursa factory, for more than 40 countries.
The brand new ride has the Uconnect infotainment system added to the cabin along with a 5-inch color touch screen display. The vehicle is also getting the text reader, Bluetooth with audio streaming, voice recognition, USB, AUX, steering wheel mounted controls, rearview camera and several other goodies. The Fiat Aegea will be able to seat five people and it will become available with two gasoline engines and with two MultiJet II turbo diesel units, with power varying between 95 HP (70 kW) and 120 HP (88 kW). A manual and an automatic transmission are being offered across the range. The Aegea stands at 4.5 meters in length, 1.78 meters in width and 1.48 meters in height, with a wheelbase of 2.64 meters and a trunk space of up to 510 liters. The vehicle is rivaling the Dacia Logan and not only.
