Fiat has released more images with the brand new compact car which is called the Aegea in Turkey.
The Fiat Aegea has been officially unveiled earlier this year and it is a brand new compact car aimed towards the Turkish auto market. The model in question will be making its way onto the Old Continent as well, along with various markets in the Middle East and Africa, but under a different name: Tipo. However, this news isn’t about the Tipo, which is basically the same car, but about the Aegea, which is starring in a new photo gallery.
According to the automaker, the new Fiat Aegea stands at 4.5 meters in length, 1.78 meters in width and 1.48 meters in height, riding on a 2.64 mm wheelbase and offering a generous luggage capacity in its trunk, 510 liters. In Turkey, Fiat will be offering the model with a choice of two diesel burners and a petrol unit, the 1.4 liter Fire 16-valve, producing 94 HP. The diesel burners are a 1.3 liter MultiJet II, with 94 HP and a 1.6 liter MultiJet II, with 118 HP. The most economical one will be eating just 4 liters of fuel every 100 km, or 70.6 mpg UK / 58.8 mpg US. Some of the standard goodies which will be found on the car include the TFT screen for the on-board computer, the Uconnect infotainment system, the automatic headlights, the rain sensing wipers, a rear view camera and parking sensors, amongst others. The Aegea will compete with the Dacia Logan.
