Fiat announcing 500 GQ Edition for Geneva image

Fiat has recently announced its plans to introduce a new special edition of the 500, which will be named the GQ, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, next week.

The Fiat 500 is probably the only car with so many special editions and one-off versions and a brand new special edition of the model is getting ready to make its public debut. According to the Italian based automaker, the newest creation based on the 500 is named the Fiat 500 GQ Edition, and the model will be officially presented to the public, for the first time, next month, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

The Fiat 500 GQ Edition has been based on the 500S and it’s coming with a metallic grey and black exterior finish, with GQ badging, chrome plated mirrors and new 16-inch alloy wheels. Changes in the cabin are limited and they include the GQ logos, the faux aluminum pedals, the leather seats and that’s about it. Power to the Fiat 500 GQ Edition is being provided by a 0.9 liter TwinAir engine, generating 85 HP (62 kW), by a 1.2 liter with 69 HP (51 kW), by a 1.4 L with 100 HP (73 kW) and by a 1.3 liter MultiJet diesel, producing 95 HP (70 kW). More details on the model will be announced in Geneva.
