The Italian based automaker Fiat has officially unveiled the new Avventura Concept during the 2014 New Delhi Auto Expo, in a premiere.
The 2014th edition of the New Delhi Auto Expo, in India, is a pleasant surprise because most automakers have given it more credit than they gave this year’s NAIAS, in Detroit. One of these carmakers is Fiat, which has brought a brand new concept car to the event. The model in question is known as the Fiat Avventura Concept and, as you probably already figured it out from the images posted below, it’s basically based on the popular Punto.
The new Fiat Avventura Concept is similar if philosophy with the Volkswagen Cross Polo and this basically means that we have a small hatchback with an increased ride height and with some plastic body cladding, amongst other small modifications. The model has a 200 mm ground clearance and a tailgate mounted spare wheel, and speaking of wheels, it has also received a different set of rims, wrapped in new tires. The interior design has been re-trimmed with color matching accents and some other tweaks. We’re not sure if the Avventura Concept will hit the production line, but don’t act too surprised if it will.
