Fiat introduces Mopar to Europe as its customer care brand image

Fiat will introduce to Europe the Mopar brand, which will handle all aftersales services on Fiat Chrysler group vehicles.

All models from Fiat, Chrysler, Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Jeep will be covered. Mopar aims to deliver improved and standardised customer service at the companies’ existing dealers, while also offering extended warranties and ensure only genuine parts are used for repairs.

Mopar will launch a dedicated service that keeps customers updated on when their cars are due for service and what work will need to be carried out. The site will also publicise special events owners can attend and will offer an app. Fiat has confirmed the European expansion of Mopar at the Panda 4×4 launch. As well as aftersales service, Mopar will also be the accessory brand for all Fiats, Chryslers, Alfas, Lancias and Jeeps.

Mopar CEO Pietro Gorlier confirmed that Fiat will design a whole range of personalisation accessories, such as graphics, alloys and mirror caps, for all of the group’s cars, while Chrysler will develop hi-tech solutions, including in-car wifi and wireless charging for mobile phones. These should become available in Europe next year.

Mopar will also offer WiADVISOR, a remote diagnostics tool which allows software updates to be downloaded to the customer’s vehicle.
