A couple of new renderings with the Fiat Tipo hatchback have hit the web once more.
Ever since Fiat has announced a new budget compact car aimed towards the Old Continent, and not only, which will be called the Tipo, reports have indicated that this model has a pretty good chance of becoming a hatchback as well and rendering artists didn’t stay away from the subject either. The two images posted below are nothing more than simple renderings which have been put together by Theophilus Chin. We can notice the same front fascia and roofline while the rear has now become more practical as the car has adopted the shape of a five-door hatchback.
These images are bringing the vehicle closer to reality as the previous rendering with such a model was extremely similar to that of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class. The rear end of this model is reminding us of one of its main competitors, the Dacia Sandero, but let’s not forget that the Romanian budget car will be significantly cheaper compared to this one and not so goodly equipped. Keep in mind that the Fiat Tipo currently exists in the four-door sedan body style and if it will be getting a hatchback variant as well, than this will be acting as a replacement for the Punto. The engine lineup available on it includes two petrol burners and two MultiJet II turbodiesel units, producing between 95 HP and 120 HP and connected to a manual or an automatic transmission.
