Fiat is now revealing the lines of its pickup truck, the so-called Toro.
The new Fiat Toro has already ended up in our news, a few weeks back, with the help of a teaser image and some leaked photos, showing it on the assembly line. However, the Italian based brand has decided to put an end to rumors by revealing its final design. The model in question is bringing a new body, that of an “SUP” (Sports Utility Pickup) and it has slender headlights, the large daytime running lights fitted to the front bumper, a small grille with the Fiat logo on it, a large air intake and what seem to be underbody protection.
The lines on its body are making it look muscular and its ride height and rear end are telling us that this might actually work off-road. It will be offered in the Brazilian market with three trim levels, the Urban, Adrenaline and Country, and it has 16-inch / 18-inch wheels, depending on the version chosen, Hill Descent control, off-road suspension, dual-zone automatic climate control, GPS navigation, electric sunroof, partial leather upholstery, Bluetooth, rearview camera, 5-inch display touch screen, audio system with subwoofer, light and rain sensors and much more. The engine lineup will include a 1.8l 16v E-Torq Flex, working together with a 6-speed automatic in 2WD, along with a 2.0l 16v MultiJet turbodiesel, offered with the same 6-speed manual but with either 2WD or 4WD. The diesel is also said to get a 9-speed auto with the 4×4 layout as well. No pricing details have been announced so far.
