The all-new Fiat Viaggio will be launched in China on the 10th of September, 2012, and the model will go on sale with a range of turbocharged engines.
After it was officially presented to the public in a world premiere during this year’s Beijing Motor Show in April, the all-new Fiat Viaggio is once again placed into the spotlights, this time with the Italian based automaker announcing that the model will be launched in China on the 10th of September. The Fiat Viaggio is made on the same platform as the Dodge Dart, the Compact US Wide or simply the CUSW.
Fiat says that the Dodge Dart-based Viaggio model is 4,679 mm long, 1,850 mm wide and it’s riding on a wheelbase of 2,708 mm, being presented as the “new C-segment benchmark”. The Fiat Viaggio will be available in China with a range of turbo engines including the 1.4 liter T-Jet in two outputs, with 120 horsepower and with 150 horsepower, which will get a five-speed manual transmission in standard and a six-speed automatic transmission as an option. The Fiat Viaggio will be known in China as the Fei Xiang and more details about it will be announced on the 10th of September.
