Final COPO Camaro to be auctioned in January image

The North American based automaker Chevrolet has announced its plans to auction the final 2012 COPO Camaro in January, next year.

After it was officially presented to the public in during the most important automotive events, the 2012 Chevrolet COPO Camaro is ending up in our news once again, this time with the carmaker announcing that the final muscle car will be auctioned in January. According to the car manufacturer, the COPO Camaro in question will try and find a new owner at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. The first 67 units of the model have sold out and this is the 68th vehicle.

If you were looking to get your hands on your very own COPO Camaro, you don’t necessarily have to attend the auction mentioned above because Chevy is planning to produce another 69 units of the model. But for the new versions, you will have to wait a few months, because they are expected to become available sometimes in 2013. The COPO Camaro Convertible was using a V8 engine and a 4.0 liter supercharger, and the total output produced was standing at 550 HP. Colors available for the COPO Camaro included the Summit White, the Ashen Grey Metallic, Black, Victory Red and Silver Ice Metallic, along with the Inferno Orange finish.
