Another special finished McLaren P1, wearing the fire black paint on its body, has been recently delivered to McLaren Newport Beach.
The McLaren P1 is being highlighted once again, this time in this appealing fire black finish, which is containing some yellow, green, orange, red and magenta flakes, visible under direct light, capable of changing its appearance. The hypercar in question has been delivered recently to McLaren Newport Beach, which will have the task of finding it a new home. We are not sure if this particular example is carrying some extra price compared to the standard versions, but this will probably be disclosed once it will be delivered to its rightful owner.
McLaren has introduced the P1 in its final form a couple of years ago, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. This is coming as a rival for the Ferrari LaFerrari and for the Porsche 918 Spyder but unlike its competition, it will be put together in the least number of units, 375. The hypercar was presented as the spiritual successor of the F1 but it has nothing to do with the classic ride. The P1 has a two-door coupe body style and, a rear-mid engine and rear-wheel drive layout. Power is being provided by the 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which has been upgraded to 727 HP and 719 Nm of torque, along with a 176 HP and 260 Nm of torque electric motor, to a total of 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque. The P1 needs 2.8s to reach 100 km/h from a standstill and it can go up to 350 km/h (217 mph).
