The first ever recorded crash of a customer owned 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has been pictured right above.
Usually when writing about car crashes of exotic vehicles we are used to having some background but in this case we have no idea what this driver hit, or if his ride was crashed from someone else’s fault and, besides this, we don’t even know where the unfortunate incident took place. Chances are that this is the United States and our guess is that the driver of the new Corvette Stingray has probably lost control of the wheel. The good news is that no one seems to be hurt, which is more than we can say about the yellow sports car.
The new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible has been officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, just earlier this year and the model has even made its debut in Europe where it’s already available for order.. The model is powered by a 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is also used on its drop-top brother, producing the same 450 HP and 450 lb-ft (609 Nm) of torque. The engine is mated to either a 7-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission, which is sending power to the rear-wheel drive.
