The first unit of the new Volkswagen Passat generation has been delivered to a customer living in Wolfsburg, Germany.
After it has been officially unveiled just a few months ago, the 2015 Volkswagen Passat is being highlighted once more, this time with the company delivering the first example. According to the car manufacturer, the model in question has been delivered to a customer living in Wolfsburg, German, and it was a Passat Variant, finished in a Tungsten Silver Metallic, equipped with the 9-spoke alloy wheels, in the Comfort Line version.
“The Wolfenbütteler Jörg Ruter took today with his family, contrary to the first of the new generation Passat in the Customer at the Autostadt in Wolfsburg. The key to the vehicle presented Francesco Forte, head of sales at company employees and customer management Autostadt”, said the carmaker in its official press release.
The vehicle in question has been equipped with standard features such as the aluminum trim, the leather wrapped steering wheel and several other tweaks. The Composition Media infotainment system has been ordered by the customer too, along with the winter package. Power to the car was provided by a 2.0 liter TDI four-cylinder engine, rated at 150 HP (110 kW) and 340 Nm (250 lb-ft) of torque.
