Today, May 14th, the first all-new Infiniti Q50 premium sports sedan rolled off the Tochigi plant assembly line.
The Q50 premium sports sedan is the first model in the new generation of Infiniti vehicles, aimed to offer advanced performance and technology and an emotive styling. The Q50, which was also awarded at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit at the beginning of this year, stays at the center of Infiniti’s new bold model lineup.
“Thanks to the skill and constant focus on performance improvement, Tochigi has a global reputation for producing top-quality vehicles. Year after year, Tochigi sets the benchmark for manufacturing quality standards,” said CEO Carlos Ghosn. With the Q50, once again the Tochigi team has showcased their skill and expertise and proven the power of Japanese monozukuri.”
The Q50 is the first model in the ‘Q’ lineup and it has to reflect Infiniti’s core values of precision in finish and fit, attention to detail, performance and seductive design. The model will hit the market this summer and will come with a technologically advanced V6 3.5 liter petrol-electric hybrid under its hood and a petrol-engined 3.7 liter powertrain.
