An online auction for the first sellable Chevrolet Volt is scheduled to end at 6 p.m. ET Tuesday, with bidding so far up to $185,000. Say what?
The benefits resulted in auctioning the first Chevrolet Volt will go to math and sciences education in the Detroit Public Schools.
The winner will get a loaded Chevy Volt, included the premium package with leather seats as well as a navigation system with backup camera. Also included is a $490 240 volt charging station for the Volt, which will decrease the Volt’s charging time from about 7 to 4 hours.
