The first ever replicas of the Ferrari LaFerrari are currently in production and will soon hit the market, healing with a more than affordable price, considering the one of the real hybrid supercar.
If you wanted to buy a Ferrari LaFerrari but you missed out on the 499 units destined for production, don’t despair because there may be a “plan B” in action which will help you add one to your garage. Well, not a real one, because it will cost as little as 20,000 USD once it will become available for order. The vehicle will be powered by an engine sourced from the Toyota Camry. If you are wondering in what country these are being produced, you may have answered your own question: China.
The real Ferrari LaFerrari has been introduced during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and it’s the company’s first ever hybrid supercar and also its most powerful production model. It competes against the Porsche 918 Spyder and the McLaren P1 and it has a 6.3 liter V12 engine under its hood, backed up by an electric motor. Ferrari says that the total output stands at 950 HP (708 kW) and 900 Nm of torque (664 lb-ft), enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in less than 3 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
