The Spanish based automaker Seat is planning to introduce a fecelifted version of the Ibiza in 2012, and the model has already been caught by cameras in Los Angeles.
The Volkswagen Polo based Ibiza’s design has been inspired, for the facelifted version, by the IBX crossover, which has been confirmed for production, and the athletic coupe, the Seat IBE. The image above has captured, as you probably figured it out yet, the 2012 Seat Ibiza facelift in Los Angeles, while the car manufacturer was filming the promotional video which will be released once with the new model, in early 2012.
The “new” Seat Ibiza is coming with a new front fascia, daytime running lights with LED, a new front bumper and a new grille which is longer, but the interior seems to be unchanged for the 2012 model year. The Spanish based automaker Seat might prepare some surprises under the hood of the facelifted Ibiza where some new engines will probably be introduced. The Seat Ibiza facelift will be manufactured at the Martorell plant.
We don’t have any more details about the 2012 Seat Ibiza facelift but the new model is scheduled to be officially unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
