The first images with the facelifted version of the Fiat Punto have recently made their way onto the web, providing us with a look into the updated variant of the popular Italian vehicle.
The compact hatchback made by Fiat, the 2015 Punto, has been updated for the new model year, but before being officially unveiled, it is being placed into the spotlights, for the very first time, with the help of the images posted below, which are showing us the model from several angles and without any camouflage on its body. The updated version of the Fiat Punto is getting the redesigned headlights, the modified front grille with its chrome treatment, the updated front bumper, the chrome outlined fog lights, the different taillights in the rear and so on.
Some minor tweaks will be applied in the cabin too but the overall design here will remain about the same. Rumors are saying that model in question will only receive cosmetic upgrades as no mechanical touches will be made so that basically means that the updated Punto will come with the 1.3 liter 16 valve MultiJet diesel engine, with its 85 HP (62 kW) and 200 Nm (147 lb-ft) of torque, along with the 85 HP (62 kW) and 145 Nm (107 lb-ft) of torque 0.9 liter TwinAir Turbo petrol. More details on it will be announced over the following months, when it will be officially unveiled.
