Toyota’s luxury brand Lexus has recently announced that the first LFA with the Nurburgring package has been delivered in Europe, to a customer in the United Kingdom.
After being officially presented to the public more than a year ago, the Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition supercar is once again highlighted, this time with the first European-bound model being delivered to a customer in the United Kingdom. The Japanese based automaker didn’t reveal the customer’s name but we know that the Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition has an orange exterior and a black cabin, while its engine remains unchanged.
The Lexus LFA with the Nurburgring package is powered by an upgraded 4.8 liter V10 engine, which is developing a total output of 562 horsepower, mated to a six-speed sequential transmission. The unit is enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 325 km/h.
The Japanese supercar in the Nurburgring Edition is still fitted with a carbon fiber body kit and it comes with unique alloy wheels wrapped in semi-slick tires and a stiffer suspension system with increased adjustability. The Nurburgring Package is adding 70,000 USD to the Lexus LFA’s base price of 375,000 USD, while the matte-black finish will cost another 20,000 USD.
