The first unit of the McLaren P1 hybrid supercar has been recently delivered to Indonesia and it looks just stunning with its yellow shade.
After being officially unveiled a year ago, in its final production version, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, and then brought to several automotive events across the globe, the McLaren P1 is still fascinating us and almost every appearance is close documented onto the web. The images posted below have been snapped in Indonesia, where the first ever McLaren P1 has been delivered. As you were probably expected, the delivery was marked by a ceremony.
The McLaren P1 is the company’s first every hybrid supercar and this is also the fastest production model to come out of the carmaker’s factory. The vehicle is using a two-door coupe body style, along with a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. Power is coming from an upgraded 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, backed up by an electric motor. The total output stands at 890 HP and 978 Nm of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is made in 2.8 seconds and top speed is electronically limited to 350 km/h (217 mph).
