First Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe Black Series arrives in Australia image

The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has recently announced that the first C63 AMG Coupe Black Series model has arrived in Australia.

After the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe Black Series has been announced as sold out in Australia on the 9th of November 2011, the model has arrived in the country earlier than expected, and with its first deliveries being scheduled for April, customers of the powerful German model will be happy to know that the vehicle will soon arrive on their drive ways.

“AMG has its roots in international motorsport. The C63 AMG Coupe Black Series is the best proof there is for the permanent transfer of technology from the race track to the road. The C63 AMG Coupe Black Series also embodies the AMG brand claim of driving performance like virtually no other AMG models”, says the chairman of Mercedes-AMG GmbH, Ola Kallenius.

As a reminder, the new Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series is powered by the “classic” 6.3 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine which is developing a total output of 517 horsepower at 6.800 rpm and has a peak torque of 457 lb-ft available at 5.000 rpm, mated to the seven-speed AMG Speedshift MCT sport automatic transmission which means that the gear changing in Sport+ and Manual models takes just one tenth of a second.
