Nissan has recently announced the delivery of the first GT-R Nismo to the United Kingdom and this is just one of 24 which will end up over there.
The first unit out of only 24 examples of the Nissan GT-R has been delivered recently to the United Kingdom and in order to celebrate the event, Nissan has taken Nick Coombes, the new owner, to the Thruxton track, where he received a one-to-one track tutorial with Jann Mardenborough, the Nismo racing driver.
“Once you’ve owned a GT-R nothing else will do. This is my third GT-R and as soon as I knew the GT-R Nismo was being made I knew I had to have one. Being the first customer in the UK to take delivery just makes the thrill of owning this incredible car even more special. And having a young man with as much talent and as bright a future as Jann show me what the car can really do has been awesome. This is a day I’ll never forget”, said the new owner of the sports car.
One of the hottest versions of the Godzilla has received some body modifications, new front anti-roll bar, improved suspension system, the turbos from the GT-R GT3 race car and now the 3.8 liter twin turbo V6 engine is capable of producing a total output of 600 HP (447 kW) and 651 Nm (481 lb-ft) of torque, connected to a 6-speed sequential transmission and the all-wheel drive system. The model has managed to lap the Ring in just 7:08.679.
