Fisker EMotion shows off its less polarizing back image

The upcoming luxury EV model from the brand setup by the same man that failed with the Fisker Karma, called Fisker Emotion, has decided to showcase its less polarizing rear.

Electric carmaker Fisker – one of the young startups looking to make a name for itself in the soon to be crowded EV market – has decided to showcase the first image of the rear end of its upcoming EMotion luxury sedan. The model was first showcased from the front, where it has a rather overly aggressive demeanor that is bound to attract polarizing opinions. Meanwhile the rear looks decidedly more elegant with a very thin taillight made out of LEDs spreading across the entire width of the car – from the corners and across the trunk lid. There’s also a rear diffuser that Fisker claims will enhance the model’s aerodynamic efficiency. Overall, the rear pose showcases the muscular stance – with massively flared front and rear fenders.

On the other hand, while the rear and side look elegant, even simple, the front is quite busy with numerous slots and ducts that arguably are needed for the vital aerodynamic and cooling functions, but with the sharp headlights the design doesn’t look entirely cohesive. Anyways, the new Emotion will use high tech graphene battery technology – developed by Fisker Nanotech – that is claimed to lower charging times, and at the same time increase range and battery life.
