Fisker Automotive has recently released a teaser image with the new Project Nina, ahead of the model’s official debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show.
The Fisker Project Nina has a big chance of catching the production line and eventually becoming the company’s second model, after the Karma, but the New York Auto Show audience will definitely play a major role into the future of this vehicle. According to the car manufacturer, the Fisker Project Nina is an entry-level sedan with an electric powertrain and a BMW “borrowed” four-cylinder turbo engine, which will act as a range extender for the model, following the same path as the Karma.
Even if the new Fisker Project Nina has been teased ahead of its official debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show, on the 4th of April, the car manufacturer is currently keeping the model into the shadows so the over-seas automotive event next month will be where the company will release full details on it. If it will eventually catch the production line, the Fisker Project Nina will be manufacturer at the former General Motors plant in Delaware, but this won’t happen sooner than 2013.
