Kia has brought the five-door version of the Forte to the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, where the model has been unveiled in a premiere.
After seeing the Cross GT Concept just earlier today, Kia has brought one more model to the same 2013 Chicago Auto Show. We’re talking about the five-door version of the Forte, which has been designed in order to appeal to more buyers. The SX version of the Kia Forte is getting some interesting features, including a unique front fascia, a dual exhaust system, 18-inch alloy wheels and much more, including Bluetooth, UVO infotainment, leather wrapped steering wheel, heated seats, navi and more.
The cheapest version of the five-door Kia Forte, the EX, is getting a 2.0 liter GDI four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 173 BHP (129 kW) and it has a peak torque of 154 lb-ft (209 Nm). The more expensive SX is coming with a 1.6 liter GDI four-cylinder, generating 201 BHP (150 kW) and 195 lb-ft of torque (264 Nm). Additional details on the new Kia Forte five-door are limited for the moment and will be announced close to its launch, which will be towards the end of this year.
