The only example of the Ferrari LaFerrari listed for sale in the United States is carrying an exaggerated price.
The Ferrari LaFerrari is probably one of the best supercars of nowadays and with just 499 units put together, you can be sure that none of those will end up on the second-hand market for a cheap price. But between the over 1m USD original asking price and what the seller is asking for this particular model, 5m USD, is quite a steep climb. The exotic ride is being offered for sale by a Florida dealership called Naples Motorsports and the hypercar has done just 202 miles. This actually had two owners and the current owner has apparently bought it from Steve Wynn, a casino magnate, for approximately 3m USD.
Ferrari has officially presented the LaFerrari back in 2013, during the Geneva Motor Show, in its final production form. This is the fastest and most powerful road-going car to have come to life in Maranello and it is also the company’s first hybrid. The vehicle is rivaling the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder and it is making use of a 6.3 liter V12 engine and a HY-KERS. The total output sent to the rear wheels, through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, stands at 950 HP (708 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the LaFerrari needs less than 3 seconds and it can go up to a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
