A rare example of the Porsche 918 Spyder has been spotted for sale recently and it now stands at almost double the amount it has been bought for.
People who have bought a McLaren P1, a Ferrari LaFerrari or a Porsche 918 Spyder, in this case, have made a pretty good investment. This particular German hypercar is currently available for order and it has been listed at 1,475,000 USD. This is way more than its initial price was, 847,000 USD. The model in question is listed for sale by Lamborghini Miami, in the used section, and it has a silver metallic finish on its body, with green brake calipers. It has covered just 310 miles so it can be considered basically a brand new ride.
Porsche has introduced the 918 Spyder back in September, 2013, during the Frankfurt Motor Show. The model has been produced in just 918 units and it has recently left the production line. All examples have been sold. The hypercar stands at 4,643 mm long, 1,940 mm wide and 1,167 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,730 mm. It is being offered in a two-door roadster body style, with a mid-engine and all-wheel drive layout, packing in a 4.6 liter V8 engine and two electric motors. The total output stands at 887 HP (661 kW) and 1,275 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) can be made in as low as 2.5s and top speed is 340 km/h (210 mph).
