The famous motorsport driver, which has been responsible for singlehandedly introducing the Gymkhana word into popular culture, has had a fruitful collaboration with Ford for years.
Now the automotive superstar has decided it should lend his credentials to signature Ford products – and the first collaboration between the two (if we put aside the bonkers vehicles he uses) is a very humble one – a Transit van. Ken Block’s first signature Ford product involves the modification of the Transit van with help from U.K.-based M-Sport. The Transit has a mysterious all-black appearance and a more aggressive body kit supported by a set of larger OZ alloy wheels. There aren’t too many details regarding the customization, but the signature Block Transit is very close – if not identical – to the modified version prepared by Van-Sport, a company created by M-Sport, Edward Davies Commercials, and Carlex Design.
Both share the same body kit with customized front and rear bumpers, extended side skirts, prominent wheel arches, and 18-inch OZ rims. Van-Sport also has numerous aftermarket accessories specifically developed for Ford’s workhorse, and you can have anything from a side arch extension pack and quad exhaust tip to a set of Eibach lowering springs and a rear diffuser. The cabin can also receive a sports steering wheel, white instrument cluster dials, Nappa leather-wrapped seats, and a mat pack.
