Today, April 19th, Ford New Zealand confirmed the price of $40,000 for the all-new Kuga.
“We have a fantastic line-up with EcoBoost petrol or turbo diesel powertrains and we’re happy to report we have a sub $40,000 entry point with the Kuga Ambiente which is excellent value for money” said Chris Masterson, Marketing Manager, Ford New Zealand. “New Zealanders want more for their dollar and the all new Kuga delivers.”
The Kuga comes with both Ford’s proven Duratorq diesel and the EcoBoost petrol engines and offers several state-of-the-art technologies and features such as the All-Wheel Drive system, the ‘Open sesame’ hands-free, powered tailgate, Ford Sync, adaptive cruise control, roll stability control, active city stop, lane keeping aid, auto high beam control, blind spot information system, front parking sensor and many others.
Earlier this month Ford announced it is increasing production of the Kuga SUV by 10% to meet demand. Ford’s all-new Kuga SUV is being manufactured at the automaker’s plant in Valencia, Spain and production will reach 100,000 units by the end of this year for the first time. Ford will manufacture 92,000 Kuga vehicles at this plant and the rest of 8,000 in Elabuga, Russia.
