The North American based automaker Ford is still considering the development of a Fiesta RS, alongside its larger brother, the Focus RS, which should come with several interesting upgrades next year.
Those of you looking into a powerful B-segment hot hatch will be glad to find out that Ford is still considering the development of the Fiesta RS. The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet and it actually comes as a report, which was published by the guys at Auto Express. The model in question should be developed along with the larger Ford Focus RS and the upgrades added to it should be irresistible to any hot hatch lover.
The upcoming Ford Fiesta RS is believed to get an aggressive body kit, with new front and rear bumpers, with extended side skirts, bulging wheel arches, a larger rear wing, a fresh set of wheels wrapped in performance tires, some high performance braking system, a sport tuned suspension system, a limited slip differential and some other tweaks, which should definitely help it stand out from a crowd. As far as the engine goes, a 1.6 liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit is believed to make its way under its hood, with approximately 230 BHP (171 kW). More details on the model remain unlimited for the moment.
