Ford has recently announced its plans to introduce the EcoSport in the Middle East this year along with new products of from both Ford and Lincoln brands.
After seeing an increase in new car sales in the Middle East, the North American based automaker Ford is now planning to launch the EcoSport over there, along with new products made by both Ford and Lincoln. The small crossover is expected to be launched in the Middle East later on this year, but an exact date hasn’t been announced yet.
“We are geared up to start 2013 on a high note as we continue to be laser-focused on the One Ford plan and work with our dealers to further grow the business and introduce exciting models such as the all-new Ford Focus ST, Escape, Fusion and EcoSport, together with the all-new Lincoln MKZ, all of which are true to the One Ford promise”, said the Ford Middle East sales director, Thierry Sabbagh.
The Ford EcoSport is now becoming a global car after its launch in several markets across Asia, South America and with the model announced for Europe later on this year. The Ford EcoSport will only be produced in Brazil, China and India. More details on the model in the Middle East will be announced soon.
