The North American based automaker Ford has recently pulled the wraps off the EcoSport for the ASEAN market, during the 2013 Bangkok Motor Show.
The Ford EcoSport has been very much awaited by new car buyers across the Asian continent and after being spied for numerous times while being tested on public roads, the model is now being placed into the spotlights in an official manner. The brand new Ford EcoSport has been finally unveiled during the 2013 Bangkok Motor Show and the model pictured above is aimed towards the ASEAN market, so if you’re living in the ASEAN region and you’re looking for a new vehicle, than you have probably found it.
The brand new Ford EcoSport is a B-segment vehicle which is based on the Ford Fiesta. The model aimed towards the Thai market will include features like the keyless entry, the push button start, the rear parking sensors, the Hill Launch Assist, the ESP, the two front airbags and the side curtain airbags, amongst others. As for the engine lineup, only one unit will be available at first, the 1.5 liter naturally aspirated VVT, which is good for 108 PS and 138 Nm of torque, which can be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic.
