The US automaker has had a long-running relationship with the Dallas Cowboys and now the fans get to experience it a bit – through a special series of the F-150 pickup truck.
Ford has been for at least two decades the official sponsor of the Dallas Cowboys and now the anniversary is celebrated via a special edition F-150 that Cowboys and NFL fans alike should jump to snatch it. The Dallas Cowboys edition Ford F-150 will be sold in just 400 units and comes loaded with Cowboys logos and badging, as well as an autograph from Jerry Jones. The special series is based on the regular F-150 with XLT trim and adds in the optional Chrome Package, painted in Cowboys helmet silver, and also the necessary badges. On the outside, the doors, door sills and the cargo box bed mat will also be adorned with the famous Cowboys star logo.
The model also packs blue and white rocker panels, 20-inch chrome wheels with unique Cowboys center caps, laser-etched chrome foot plates with the Cowboys word mark, and a “1 of 400” interior badge complete with the autograph of Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. The special edition truck is also a means of celebrating the opening of the Ford Center at The Star – a state-of-the-art training facility and 12,000-seat indoor stadium in Frisco, Texas.
