Ford has announced its plans to introduce a new special edition of the popular Fiesta, the so-called Red and Black Edition, which has gained some interesting features.
The brand new Ford Fiesta Red and Black Edition can be finished, obviously, in Race Red or Panther Black, and the model in question can be easily distinguished from the standard versions thanks to the roof mounted spoiler, to its sporty front and rear bumpers, to the 16-inch Panther Black alloy wheels or the optional 17-inch ones, the front upper and lower grille surrounds, the glossy black center stack and door handles, the contrasting red stitching found inside, the leather wrapped gear shift lever and steering wheel and so on.
Power to the model is being provided by the popular 1.0 liter three-cylinder EcoBoost engine, which is producing a total output, in this version, of 140 HP (103 kW). The North American based automaker is saying that the unit in question is providing more power-per-liter than a Ferrari 458 Speciale and a Bugatti Veyron. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint, however, is not similar to the one of a supercar, because it takes 9 seconds. Top speed stands at 201 km/h (125 mph). The limited edition Fiesta is burning 4.5L / 100km (62.8 mpg UK / 52.3 mpg US) and it is emitting 104 g/km of CO2.
