A couple of new renderings with the Ford Fiesta RS are showing us how the hottest version of the sub-compact vehicle would look like if it would be green lighted by the “blue oval”.
Reports released over these past few months have indicated that Ford is planning an RS version of the current Fiesta generation but this hasn’t been confirmed at this time. However, it was enough to make rendering artists go wild and create their own interpretations of the sub-compact hot hatch with influences from the current Fiesta ST and also with some borrowed tweaks from the recently unveiled Focus RS. The newest renderings with the Ford Fiesta RS are signed by Theophilus Chin and they are showing us the aggressive looking hot hatch with a green finished body and some black accents.
The Ford Fiesta RS pictured below has received a more aggressive body kit, with a front grille and front bumper inspired from the new Focus RS, a large diffuser at the rear incorporating the exhaust system, a small wing, tweaked side skirts, black finished mirror casings and black finished wheels. If it will indeed catch the production line, than the model in question will also get a reworked suspension system, better brakes and the same 1.6 liter turbocharged engine under its hood as the ST, but this will produce close to 250 HP. The development of a Ford Fiesta RS is not considered to be crazy anymore because Renault has introduced the Clio RS Trophy recently, which will be a direct competitor to the Fiesta RS.
