The North American based automaker Ford is currently offering a sedan version of the Fiesta on sale throughout Asia.
The new generation of the Ford Fiesta has been around for quite some time but while the model is enjoying good sales on the Old Continent, the carmaker wants to attract more customers into the brand. The Asian auto market has been selling sedan versions of popular hatchbacks for a few years and with Ford knowing this, the company has tried its luck with the Fiesta Sedan. This is the third body style found on the current generation of the Ford Fiesta and it’s adding a large boot, contributing to an increased length.
The Ford Fiesta Sedan has been made for emerging markets where we can already find new models like the Peugeot 201 and where Dacia is getting ready to launch the second generation of the Logan. The Fiesta Sedan is coming with a choice of two engines, a 1.5 liter petrol Duratec Ti-CVT, which is producing a total output of 110 HP and 140 Nm of torque, and a new TDCi diesel, generating 91 HP and 204 Nm of torque. The diesel burner is “drinking” 5 liters of fuel every 100 km.
