As the Indian consumers are concentrating on “low cost good product” system, Ford Motors has offered something that would interest them. The manufacturer has launched its all new Fiesta in Delhi, India.
The 2012 Ford Fiesta is packed with good features and boasts beautiful yet aggressive look. However, the experts from inside says that price of its base model could change.
After the launch of this car in India, the company has given a clue to people about bringing down the price of its newly introduced variant that would be loaded with lower ranged specs. A lot has been hyped about this new Ford Fiesta, but not many are happy with the price set for the entry level Fiesta.
The sales and marketing director of Ford India, Nigel Wark has said that the entry level model will directly compete with its rivals Hyundai, Honda and Volkswagen, all known as lower priced cars in the Indian car market.
This new car is an automatic transmission variant that runs in petrol mode and is priced between Rs. 8.99 lakh and Rs. 9.70 lakh as per the ex-showroom prices in Delhi.
The company promises that this new variant will not only come into affordable pricing, but will also offer better fuel efficiency than what the manual transmission gearbox offers.
