The local automotive media is announcing the new Ford Focus RS, which will arrive in mid-2016, will start from 50,990 AUD, plus the on-road costs.

According to the guys from CarAdvice, the model in question will be priced from 50,990 AUD, plus the on-road costs, and this basically means 12,000 AUD more than the current range-topping model, the ST. Our source is also saying that the new Focus RS costs 9,000 AUD less than the previous generation.
Some of the goodies which will be found on the hot hatch include the cruise control with speed limiter, the push-button start, rearview camera, USB and RCA inputs, 9-speaker audio system, sat-nav, voice control, Bluetooth, high-res 8.0-inch color touch screen, SYNC2 with Emergency Assistance, keyless entry, Recaro seats, bi-xenon HID with LED daytime running lights, 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels and a unique RS bodykit. Ford will also offer the optional performance wheel pack, for an extra 2,500 AUD, adding the 19-inch forged alloy wheels in glossy black, wrapped in 235/35 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The Ford Focus RS is using a 2.3l EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, producing a total of 257 kW and 440 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the all-wheel drive through a 6-speed manual transmission.
