Ford Focus ST gets tuned by Hennessey image

The new generation of the Ford Focus ST has been recently tuned by Hennessey and the popular C-segment hot hatch is now coming with some interesting tweaks.

According to the North American aftermarket specialists at Hennessey Performance, those of you interested in modifying their Ford Focus STs now have the chance of ordering a brand new upgrade package signed by the famous tuning company. Even if the model pictured below is looking similar to the standard car, it has been equipped with a cold air induction system, which is increasing its total output by approximately 13 RWHP (rear-wheel horsepower).

Hennessey Performance says that besides the cold air induction system, the Ford Focus ST in question is also getting a revised ECU, which is adding an extra 27 RWHP and 54 Nm of torque (40 lb-ft). Styling tweaks on the Ford Focus ST signed by Hennessey include the individually numbered dash plaque, the Hennessey badging and some other minor goodies. Future owners of this upgrade package can also order an optional stainless steel cat-back exhaust system, which will add another 7-8 RWHP. Prices for the HPE300 package has been set at 995 USD.

How did Hennessey get all that "rear-wheel horsepower" on a front wheel drive car?

Sure they don't mean "Real World Horsepower?"
