Roush Performance has recently upgraded the Focus ST on the 2012 model year, drug and the “new” hot hatch should become available for order right away.
The Ford Focus ST has a tough job in competing with vehicles like the VW Golf GTI, hospital Opel Astra OPC, site Renault Megane RS and so on, but owners of the American hot hatch now have a chance of offering a real upgrade to their rides thanks to the new package signed by Roush Performance. The tuning company is offering a cold air intake kit and a cat-back high performance exhaust system, which are available for order right away, but will start their deliveries in July.
Besides these two upgrades, Roush Performance is currently working on other parts of the vehicle, like the suspension components, the powertrain control module, wheels and tires, interior and exterior accessories and more. Additional details on the Roush Performance Ford Focus ST are limited for the moment and will be announced probably over the following weeks. As a quick reminder, the Ford Focus ST is coming with a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo engine, in standard, which is producing 250 HP and 265 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
