Tanner Foust and Cobb Tuning have recently teamed up in order to produce one hot ride, a modified Ford Focus ST, named the Tanner Foust Edition by Cobb Tuning.
The Ford Focus RS might be some years away but if you can’t wait for it to make its way onto the market there is an alternative, which is wearing the same Ford Focus badge on its body but the RS has been exchanged with the ST. We’re talking about a modified Ford Focus ST, named the Focus ST Tanner Foust Edition by Cobb Tuning, which has been created by the two companies mentioned in its name.
“COBB Tuning gave us the opportunity to bring their well respected expertise to a new platform and make a package that was very affordable to the first-time performance car buyer”, as Foust said in the official press release.
The new Ford Focus ST Tanner Foust Edition by Cobb Tuning is getting new body graphics, carbon fiber accents, a new front grille, a sports suspension, new wheels and tires and some other tweaks. The vehicle has an optimized ECU, a sports exhaust system, a revised air intake, an enlarged intercooler and more, which are allowing the 2.0 liter EcoBoost to produce 300 HP (223 kW), 48 HP (36 kW) more than the standard unit. No pricing details have been released yet.
