Ford Focus WTCC Limited Edition unveiled in the UK
The World Touring Car Championship team Arena has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, an upgraded Ford Focus, which will be sold globally.
The newest Ford Focus version is named the WTCC Limited Edition and it was created by the World Touring Car Championship team Arena. The hot hatch has been recently unveiled in the United Kingdom but what is mostly strange on this vehicle is that it will be offered on sale globally. According to its creators, the Ford Focus WTCC Limited Edition will get a more powerful version of the 1.6 liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine under its hood.
The engine used on the Ford Focus WTCC Limited Edition has been tweaked by Mountune Performance and it’s now producing a total output of 200 BHP, with a peak torque of 236 lb-ft. This means that the unit is 20 BHP more powerful than the most powerful version of the 1.6L EcoBoost and it also has 37 lb-ft more. The model is also getting 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 235/40 tires, WTCC exterior graphics, WTCC branded trim and carbon fiber effect detailing, amongst others.
