The North American based automaker Ford has recently announced the official range of the Fusion Energi, which sits at an impressive 620-mile or 998 km.
After being unveiled back in 2012, the Ford Fusion Energi is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the car manufacturer announcing its official range. According to the carmaker, the Ford Fusion Energi can be driven for an impressive 620 miles (998 km) and this is translated into 108 MPGe in city, 92 MPGe on the highway and 100 MPGe combined. The model is capable of running in the electric mode for up to 21 miles (33.8 km).
If using the Ford Fusion Energi for 5 years, customers will be able to save approximately 6,850 USD compared to a regular car and even if this may sound impressive, you should know that the Ford Fusion Energi is priced at 39,495 USD, which makes it significantly more expensive than the Ford Fusion Hybrid, priced at 27,200 USD. As a quick reminder, the Ford Fusion Energi is coming with a 2.0 liter four-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine, with a lithium-ion battery pack and with an electric motor, which are allowing the hybrid powertran to develop a total output of 188 BHP (140 kW).
