If you enjoy the “Oregon Trail” historic adventure and the related entertainment fixtures, you might fancy about the new line of travel trailers and campers just released into the wild by Ford.
The second largest US automaker has teamed up for this feat with Livin Lite and together they designed, researched and developed the new line of Ford licensed travel trailers, toy haulers and slide-in truck campers. We’re talking here about pretty serious camper stuff, as the travel trailers and truck campers were jointly-developed alongside Ford Truck Design and are easily distinguishable because they feature styling elements such as the Blue Oval side graphics, a front window that has been inspired by the successful F-Series and unique wheels that show their allegiance to the ones employed on the Ford trucks. The series also comes with a more premium interior that draws a parallel with the equally upscale mid-level F-Series Lariat. No interior footage has been released yet but the automaker did comment – claiming the cabins have been finished to be both “stylish and tough” and have been treated to bespoke leather upholstery and seats with Blue Oval logos.
Meanwhile the campers are available for 6- and 8-foot truck beds, the travel trailers and toy haulers will be delivered in 22- and 24-foot lengths. The partnership has also expressed the intention to have in the near future a line expansion with more models such as fifth-wheel trailers and pop-up campers. The new family will have the truck campers first up for sale early 2016 across certified Livin Lite dealers and the travel trailers and toy haulers will join the roster later on after the second quarter of next year.
