The driver of a Ford GT has managed to crash his ride after losing control of the wheel in a possible illegal race.
It’s not often that we see a crashed Ford GT so spotting one with a ruined front fascia and some other damages made to its body just had to be shared. According to the guys from the image posted above has been shot in Brazil and the American supercar has been apparently crashed while racing. It seems that no one was injured in the unfortunate incident, which is more than we can say about the vehicle.
Ford has put together no less than 4,038 units of the GT, between 2005 and 2006. The supercar has been assembled in Wixom, Michigan, United States, and it has a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. Power to the supercar came from a 5.4 liter modular mid-mounted V8 engine, made from aluminum, with a Lysholm twin screw-type supercharger. The total output of the model stands at 550 HP (410 kW), at 6,500 rpm, and the peak torque is 678 Nm (500 lb-ft), available at 3,750 rpm. From 0 to 100 km/h the model needs 3.7 seconds and top speed stands at 330 km/h (205 mph).
