A 43-year old man has been killed in Southern Germany, on the passenger seat of a Ford GT40, after the driver has lost control of the wheel on a rainy rural road.

According to the guys at GT Spirit, the latest example of such an unfortunate incident is coming all the way from Germany, where a Ford GT40 passenger has lost its life.
Our source is saying that the 43-year old man was travelling on the passenger seat of a Ford GT, when the driver lost control of the wheel, after a sharp bend, crashing his ride directly into a tree. The impact killed the passenger while the 49-yer old driver survived with life-threatening injuries. The supercar has been totally damaged and it will end up in the scrap yard. Our source is saying that this might be a replica of the iconic supercar.
