Ford hits 1,000 deliveries for its Mustang in UK image

The Blue Oval brand announced that over 1, 000 British customers have now received their new right-hand-drive Mustang.

As total sales keep on growing, overpassing 3,500 Mustangs so far, the sports-cars enthusiasts in the UK seems to be lured by the American muscle car idea and over 1,000 British customers have now received their new right-hand-drive Mustang. According to Ford, 80 percent of buyers have chosen the fastback body style over the convertible one, while 68 percent wanted to get under the hood the 416 PS 5.0-litre V8 engine. Mustang’s six-speed manual transmission is the slightly more popular choice (54 percent) over the six-speed automatic, even if the latter comes with the SelectShift paddles. When it comes to colour, Race Red is the favorite one among UK buyers, specified on 20 percent of Mustang orders, followed by the Magnetic Silver with 17 percent and Shadow Black with 15 percent, while Triple Yellow and Ruby Red complete the top five.

However, if you have other desires in terms of body-painting, the colour palette has been updated from March to include new White Platinum, Grabber Blue and Lightning Blue, but Competition Orange, Deep Impact Blue and Guard Grey options have been removed from the option list. The right-hand drive Mustang is available to order in the UK from £30,995 (EcoBoost) and £34,995 (V8) and now features 8-inch colour touchscreen with nine-speaker DAB radio and USB & Bluetooth connectivity as standard. By the end of 2015, more than 13,000 customers ordered the all-new Ford Mustang, which went on sale in Europe last summer for the first time in the icon’s 51-year history.
