The European division of Ford has recently announced that the Kuga and the Fiesta ST models will be officially presented to the public at the pre-Geneva Motor Show event, on the 5th of March.
While the competition will officially present some new models on the 6th of March, at the Geneva Motor Show, Ford is taking advantage of the pre-event, and the car company will launch the Fiesta ST and the Kuga on the 5th of March. Even if the two models have been announced to make their debut at the Swiss automotive event next week, Ford isn’t revealing all of their “secrets” just yet.
According to the car manufacturer, the Ford Kuga will be basically identical to the 2013 Ford Escape, the only difference being three petrol engines, which can’t be found on the European model, but the automaker is stopping here with details on the small crossover and going to the Fiesta ST, which has been previewed by a concept at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The production version of the Ford Fiesta ST will come with an aerodynamic body kit, a dual exhaust system and a sport-tuned suspension, and under its hood, the hot hatch will be powered by a 1.6 liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, which is developing 177 HP and 240 Nm of torque (177 lb-ft), enabling the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 220 km/h (137 mph).
