Ford has recently announced its plans to introduce the new Mustang generation on the Old Continent too, where the model should arrive in the first months of 2014.
The North American based automaker Ford is planning to introduce the new Mustang generation in Europe too. The announcement has been officially made and, according to the company’s European operations chief, Barb Samardzich, the European customers know the Mustang better than Americans. We’re not sure when exactly the new Ford Mustang generation will arrive on the Old Continent, or how much it will cost, but rumors are saying that the model will be launched in early next year.
Europeans will definitely go for the mid-range version of the 2015 Ford Mustang, which is equipped with a 2.3 liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, producing a total output of 305 HP (227 kW) and having a peak torque of 406 Nm (300 lb-ft) of torque. Besides this unit, Ford is also offering a 3.7 liter V6, for the entry-level version, with its 300 HP (223 kW) and 365 Nm (270 lb-ft) of torque, along with a larger 5.0 liter V8, offered for the top of the line variant, generating 420 HP (313 kW) and 528 Nm (390 lb-ft) of torque.
